Many methods are being invented to protect the wood, and one of them is the copper metal method. The use of this method is fast being accepted because it is not corroding the metal fasteners. This process is what in other words called the micronized copper wood preservative. In this process microscopic particles of solid copper metal are mixed in a liquid carrier and injected to the wood at high pressure. The process eliminates the need to dissolve the copper as is done in earlier copper-based preservatives. This process is highly effective and the wood properties and heightened. The wood products protected using this method last longer.

Termites cannot eat through timber treated through this method. It has also shown to be an improvement in corrosion resistant properties to metal fasteners. When you use this method to treat wood, then you will not need to worry for at least ten years.
